This chapter describes the commands used to debug the Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) on Cisco IOS XR software.

debug eigrp fsm

To display debugging information about the Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) dual finite state machine (fsm) events and actions, use the debug eigrp fsm command in EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the no form of this command.

debug eigrp fsm

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Syntax Description

as-number	(Optional) Autonomous system (AS) number. Range is 1 to 65535.
vrf vrf-name	(Optional) Identifies an OSPF VPN routing and forwarding (VRF) instance. The vrf-name argument can be specified as an arbitrary string. The strings "default" and "all" are reserved values for the vrf-names argument.
prefix	(Optional) IP prefix, which limits output to a specific route.
mask	(Optional) IP address mask.
/length	(Optional) Prefix length, which can be indicated as a slash (/) and number. For example, /8 indicates that the first eight bits in the IP prefix are network bits. If length is used, the slash is required.
neighbor	(Optional) Displays IPv4 address family EIGRP neighbor debugging information.
ip-address	(Optional) Address of the neighbor.
notifications	(Optional) Displays IPv4 address family EIGRP event notifications.
summary	(Optional) Displays IPv4 address family EIGRP summary route processing information.
