This section explains the known problems in CiscoWorks LMS Portal 1.1:

Table 3 Known Problems in CiscoWorks LMS Portal 1.1

Bug ID
Summary
Explanation

CSCsk76372

Remote portlet links do not launch the remote server from a Windows Vista client system.

This is because the domain name for the remote server is not resolved with the client server.

The remote portlet is configured from an intermediate server that does not have a domain name. Hence the client browser cannot connect to the remote server because its domain name is not resolved.

Workaround:

None.

CSCsj72270

In 2:1:2 - 1 Layout, placing a portlet in the third column for the first time does not display the shaded region.

In 2:1:2 - 1 Layout, when you place a portlet in the third column for the first time, the green region with two arrows round the portlet is not displayed.

This makes it difficult to place the portlet.

This problem is because of a bug in the Liferay engine.

Workaround:

None.

CSCsk34262

Some portlets are not displayed by default in the views of CiscoWorks LMS Portal 1.1

When you upgrade from LMS 3.0 to LMS 3.0 December 2007 Update some portlets in CiscoWorks LMS Portal are not displayed by default in the views.

Workaround:

You must manually add the portlets into the view, after upgrading.

CSCsl32164

In RME hardware summary and in RME software summary portlet an error appears when you click any device count link.

In the RME hardware and software summary portlets, when you click the device count link, the Login screen appears.

You are prompted to enter your user name and password.

After you enter these credentials and log in the following error message appears:

You have not selected a report. Select a report to run or schedule a job.

Workaround:

1. Close the pop-up screen with the error message

2. Click the device count link again

3. Enter the Log in credentails

The correct page is displayed.
