The following sections show the Cisco devices supported when the CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine, Release 2.5 was released:

Supported Access Points and Bridges
The WLSE provides incremental device support. Select the file containing the updated list of supported access points that is compatible with the WLSE version you are running from the Software Center at: Provides information about using XML application programming interface. On Cisco.com at
http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/cw2000/crypto/wlan-sol-eng/
To import the updated list of devices to the WLSE, select Administration > System > New Version Support.
To see a list of supported firmware versions, select Administration > System > Firmware Supported Versions.
To see a list of devices discovered by the Wireless LAN Solution Engine, select Devices > Discover > Managed Devices.
Radio Management Device Support
The Radio Management portion of WLSE requires the following combinations of products and versions:

WLSE (Release2.5)

IOS AP Release 12.2(13)JA
•
Cisco Aironet 11b-Client with 12.08 release
Radio Management functionality, such as client walkabout and radio monitoring, works when the client image is release 12.08 only. In addition, Radio Management functionality supports 802.11b radios only.

This release does not support the 802.11g radio.

When a 1200 access point is converted from non-IOS to Cisco IOS, its SysObjectID changes to 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.525, which corresponds to 1210 and 1230 models (Cisco IOS). Software Images listed for 1210 and 1230 models apply to the converted access point.
