Table A-1 lists the rules for usernames, passwords, and roles.

Table A-1 Allowable Characters for Users and Roles

User Name

No more than 32 characters.

Case sensitive.

Except for the full stop/period (.) and dash (-), the characters from Table A-2

User Password

5-8 characters.

Case sensitive.

Any alphanumeric character and the underscore.

Role

No more than 32 characters.

Case sensitive.

Any character from Table A-2.


Naming Rules for Names and Descriptions

Table A-2 lists the allowable characters for names and descriptions. The number of characters allowed are:

Names—no more than 64 characters allowed

Descriptions—no more than 256 characters allowed
