Overview

Cisco® Active Network Abstraction (ANA) is a flexible and powerful vendor-neutral resource management solution that doubles as an enabling platform for value-added network and service management applications in a multitechnology, multiservice network environment. In addition, Cisco ANA offers several capabilities for developers, namely:

• A Cisco ANA Integration Software Development Kit (SDK) with a rich set of northbound APIs and interfaces

• A Cisco ANA developer program to foster a developer community through:

– Software documentation, sample code, and white papers

– Developer forums for community-based interactions

– Developer support

– Developer training

– Validation of partner implementations

– Go-to-market activities for partner implementations

Product Availability

The ANA Integration SDK, Revision 1.0 will begin shipping on September 25, 2007. It is included with the ANA software.

Ordering Information

The ANA Integration SDK, Revision 1.0 is targeted to the service provider marketplace. Independent software vendors (ISVs) and system integrators (SIs) must register at the Cisco ANA developer program to obtain the ANA software for development. Cisco ANA end users should contact their Cisco account manager for further details.
