Price Increase on Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E Switches [Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series Switches]

Effective December 1, 2005, there will be a price increase on the Cisco® Catalyst® 3750G-24TS-S and Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E switches. This increase will apply to all orders placed for either of the aforementioned products after November 30, 2005. Current pricing will be honored for all orders received prior to December 1, 2005. Please contact your Cisco account manager or partner for additional details.

As alternatives to the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E, Cisco suggests the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S1U and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E1U. These products provide the same features and performance of the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E along with several advantages. The Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S1U and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E1U are more compact at 1RU (versus 1.5 RU for Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E) and draw less power (100W compared to 190W). The Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S1U and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E1U also ship with 32MB of Flash memory rather than the 16MB of Flash memory in the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E. The pricing of the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S1U and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E1U will remain unchanged. The Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S1U and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E1U share the same industry-leading features as the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-S and the Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E, including:

• 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 10/100/1000 RJ45 connectors

• 4 Small Form-Factor Pluggable-based Gigabit Ethernet uplinks

• 32 Gbps, high-speed stacking bus
