To ensure deployment success, please make sure you have reviewed the Cisco CallManager compatibility matrix to verify interoperability of Cisco CallManager with other products you are deploying.

With thousands of Cisco CallManager 4.0 deployments in the field Cisco is confident that Cisco CallManager 4.0 is the highest quality and most reliable release of Cisco CallManager that the company has released yet.

Customers with Cisco Software Application Support plus Upgrades (SASU) maintenance contracts can obtain free upgrade media for Cisco CallManager 4.0(2a) from the Product Upgrade Tool.

Cisco CallManager 4.0(2a)SR1 is not available on CD but can be downloaded from the Software Download Center for Cisco CallManager Version 4.0.

Hewlett Packard is in the process of transitioning their servers from DL380-G3 servers to DL380-G4 servers. Cisco is currently working on a new Operating System (OS 2000.2.7) install that will support these new servers. Availability of this new OS is anticipated for mid to late January 2005. Until OS 2000.2.7 is ready to ship, Cisco will place CM4.0-K9-DL380= and CM4.0-K9-DL380D= on New Product Hold.

IBM is in the process of transitioning their servers from X345 servers to X346 servers. Cisco is currently working on a new Operating System (OS 2000.2.7) install that will support these new servers. Availability of this new OS is anticipated for mid to late January 2005. Until OS 2000.2.7 is ready to ship, Cisco will place CM4.0-K9-X345= and CM4.0-K9-X345D= on New Product Hold.
