Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® BTS 10200 Softswitch software versions 4.1 and 4.2 and Cisco Extensible Provisioning and Operations Manager (EPOM) software version 4.2. The last day to order the affected products is February 1, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until August 1, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch version 4.4.1Vxx and Cisco EPOM 4.4.1 which is an upgrade with new functionality. Information about the replacement products can be found at:

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch software versions 4.1 and 4.2 is the BTS 10200 Softswitch version 4.4.1 (Table 3).
