Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® 4 port Brooktrout board for Unity Bridge (TR-114 variant). The last day to order the affected product is May 15, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until May 15, 2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
New Unity Bridge systems will use the TR-1034 variant Brooktrout boards. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco 4 port Brooktrout board for Unity Bridge (TR-114 variant) is the 4 or 8 port Brooktrout board for Unity Bridge (TR-1034 variant). For use as part of the Unity Bridge solution, both cards offer equivalent functionality (with the sole exception being that the TR-1034 variant come in an 8 port form factor. However, due to software incompatibilities, the TR-114 and TR-1034 cards can't run concurrently in the same Unity Bridge server.
