Cisco Systems® announces the end of sale and end of life of the Cisco®4-Channel Packet Voice/Fax DSP Module (PVDM) System.
Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until February 12, 2009. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco PVDM. Table 2 lists the product numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the 8-Channel PVDM System, which provides the same functionality. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating from the 4-Channel to the 8-Channel systems.
Note: The 8-channel systems are now the same price as the 4-channel systems. Note that pricing may be changed without adjustment to this notice.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco 4-Channel PVDM is the 8-Channel PVDM (Table 3).
