This document discusses the MGX 8220 Inverse Multiplexing for ATM Trunk Module (IMATM) configurable alarm thresholds for the physical layer.

Configurable Alarm Thresholds

You can use the xcnfalm command in order to configure alarm threshholds for the physical layer on the MGX 8220 IMATM.

The default integration periods for all RED/YELLOW ALMs (alarms) are:

  • 2.5 seconds from No ALM –> ALM

  • 15 seconds from ALM –> No ALM
