Introduction

This product bulletin describes the new features introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(1)XD for the Cisco 820 and small-office/home-office (SOHO) series routers.

New Features

Cisco 820 Series and SOHO 77 Routers

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(1)XD is an early deployment (ED) release that provides new configuration features and support for Cisco VPN Solutions Center management software for Cisco 820 Series and SOHO 77 routers.

The following features are supported with 12.2(1)XD:

•DHCP Server Import

•IPCP Subnet Mask Delivery

•Named IP Access List

•Secure Shell

•Service Assurance Agent

The features delivered with this ED release will be incorporated into Release 12.2(3)T. Therefore, maintenance for these features would be obtained from Release 12.2(3)T.

12.2(1)XD will be sold until Cisco IOS Software 12.2(3)T is released.

Supported Hardware Platforms

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(1)XD applies to the Cisco 826, 827 and SOHO 77 models.

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(1)XD does not apply to Cisco 801, 802, 803, 804, 811, 813 or 805 models.
