Introduction

This sample configuration shows a Cisco 6400 Universal Access Concentrator (UAC) with two node route processors (NRPs) installed.

Each NRP has a Cisco 827 Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) Router terminating on it. The Cisco 827 routers pass traffic to each other across a permanent virtual circuit (PVC) configured between the NRPs.

An end-to-end configuration includes a Cisco 6130 Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM), Cisco 6400 node switch processor (NSP), and a Cisco 6400 NRP.
