Scientific Atlanta’s Residential Gateway product portfolio offers a selection of cable modem "gateways" that combine router and wireless access points in a single device to provide a cost-effective solution for both home and small office networking. These modems feature fully integrated CableHome®-ready Network Address Translation (NAT), a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, parental control and firewall technology.

Features common to all Scientific Atlanta Residential Gateways modems include:
