Deliver End-to-End Service-Level Management
Service providers now require more service management applications to meet customer needs and market demands, but face the overwhelming effort of managing the different layers involved. Cisco Active Network Abstraction (ANA) provides the solution by offering a multivendor, vendor-neutral system that gives service providers the means to deliver end-to-end service-level management through a common information model and software development kit (SDK).
Cisco Active Network Abstraction is an abstraction service that discovers physical and logical network topologies of network equipment and services as a comprehensive network mediation layer. It is extended by a number of applications that use its information model and infrastructure to provide essential capabilities such as fault correlation, device image management, and provisioning and other technology-specific applications such as MPLS Assurance Manager. Third-party applications can leverage ANA capabilities through the ANA Integration SDK.
provides web service interfaces for client applications to query the ANA information model or activate services in the network through ANA. Through the Cisco ANA Integration SDK and developer program, service providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors can effectively deliver and support the integrated management applications that their customers demand.
