Introduction
The Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) is a protocol used to discover devices on a network. Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) does not require that this protocol is used. It might be necessary to disable CDP to troubleshoot Operating System (OS) level issues. The purpose of this document is to outline the procedure to disable this protocol.
