Introduction

This document describes the maximum number of rows that the WebView report allows. If the size of the WebView report is over a certain limit, WebView truncates the part that exceeds the limit, and issues an error message. The size limit is preset. You cannot configure the size limit in WebView.

For more information on document conventions, see the Cisco Technical Tips Conventions.

Q. What is the maximum number of rows in the WebView report and can this setting be modified?

A. When you create a WebView report, if your selections of items and date range return more than 3000 rows of data, you will see a warning message. WebView generates the report, but the data is truncated at the 3000th row.

Error - "The resulting retrieved data of 3000
rows may not contain all data for selected inputs.
Narrow your selection to insure complete data!"

The summary columns will correctly add the data that appears in the report; however, the data in a particular grouping that appears on the report may not be all of the data in the database for that grouping.

To avoid this restriction, limit the items or shorten the data range for the report. You can also create a custom report that aggregates at a higher level.
