Introduction
This document describes the function of the testsync process on the Cisco CallRouter and on the Peripheral Gaterway (PG) in a Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) environment.
Q. What does the testsync process do on the Cisco CallRouter and PG?
A. The testsync process on the Cisco CallRouter and PG serves as a diagnostic tool. It allows rttest and opctest to determine the states of all the processes on the CallRouter and PG without communicating with the Message Delivery Service (MDS) process. The testsync process is strictly used for rttest on the CallRouter and opctest on the PG. The process names of the testsync process are tsyr (Figure 1) and tsyp (Figure 2) on the CallRouter and on the PG respectively.
