A. No. Cisco MeetingPlace IP Phone software is freely available to MeetingPlace customers.

Q. How do I obtain the Cisco MeetingPlace IP Phone software?

A. The software can be downloaded from Cisco MeetingPlace IP Phone Software Download ( registered customers only) .

Q. What are the verification steps for a Cisco MeetingPlace IP onsite installation or upgrade?

A. For information on the verification procedures you use before you go onsite, before you start onsite work, and after you have completed any Cisco MeetingPlace IP onsite work, refer to MeetingPlace IP Onsite Installation or Upgrade.

Q. What are the most common TCP/IP and UDP ports used in a Cisco MeetingPlace server environment?

A. All of the applications use the same ports to communicate with a Cisco MeetingPlace server. In addition, there are a variety of ports used between MeetingPlace conference servers and the MeetingPlace network server. It is recommended that you allow unrestricted TCP and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) traffic between networked conference servers. For a complete list of ports used in the MeetingPlace environment, refer to MeetingPlace Server TCP/IP and UDP Ports.
