Announcement for the Cisco Unity ML570-2A Server
Cisco Systems announces the end of life of the Cisco Unity™ ML570-2A Server platform.
Due to supply-chain constraints, the ML570-2A is no longer orderable through Cisco, effective immediately. Customers will continue to receive support from Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until April 22, 2008. SMARTnet® services are also available for these products. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones and dates for this server platform. Table 2 and Table 3 show the affected part numbers and migration options.

Product Migration OptionsThe Cisco Unity ML570-2A server is a high-end, quad-processor server platform sourced by Cisco from Hewlett Packard (HP). For customers that require a high-end, large-capacity server for their Cisco Unity application, there are several options:

The x255 is a high-end, large-capacity server platform from IBM. The x255 is available through Cisco or directly from IBM in dual- or quad-processor configurations.

The ML570 quad-processor configuration is still available directly from HP.
