Configure

Phones in San Jose are placed in the default device pool. The RTP phones are placed in the RTP device pool.

In order to configure the default and remote (RTP) device pools, complete these steps:

  1. Choose System > Device Pool > Add a New Device Pool.

  2. Enter San Jose device pool configuration information as shown in this image:

Note: This configuration specifies MRGL-SJ as the media resource group list, which contains the San Jose media resource group (MRG-SJ). Refer to Media Resources Interactive Voice Network Configuration Example for more information. Also note that this configuration uses the default region for the San Jose location (default device pool).

  3. Enter RTP device pool configuration as shown in this image:

Note: This configuration places the RTP device pool in the remote region that is created in Regions Interactive Voice Network Configuration Example. Also, note that the SRST reference that points to 2651XM is created in Unified SRST Interactive Voice Network Configuration Example. Finally, similar to the San Jose device pool configuration, this configuration places the RTP device pool in the MRGL-RTP media resource group list as described in Media Resources Interactive Voice Network Configuration Example.
