Coastway uses a secure Internet portal to send information to its ATMs, where Members read about its product offerings on full-color screens. At each branch, digital signage displays the latest interest rates and promotional campaigns to capture Members' attention while they wait in line to transact their business. Digital cameras have been installed at each Member Service Representative's desk, and are used to take photos of Members for identification and security purposes. Coastway has also implemented E-deposit, which clears Members' checks faster than ever. Generating Less Paper—and More EfficiencyTo streamline its operations, Coastway is in the process of becoming completely paperless. This will help employees provide faster answers to Members' questions, since they can quickly access any receipt, check, application, or other document from any branch or the Contact Center—without wasting time digging through paperwork. Signature pads have also been deployed, so Members can open a new account and soon apply for a loan without signing hard copies of documents or filling out paper applications.
