Growing with Technology Awards

Categories

Winners of the Cisco Growing with Technology Awards 2007 will serve as role models for other organizations that want to use technology to fuel growth, extend services, and compete more effectively. The panel of judges will select one grand prize winner, one first prize winner, one second prize winner as well as one honorable mention winners from each category.

Entrants will select one of the following categories. (All for-profit organizations including for-profit educational institutions will be required to enter in the Sales and Marketing Category, the Customer Relationships Category OR the Operational Excellence Category. Public sector, governmental entities and non-profit educational institutions (i.e. public school districts) will be required to enter in the Public Sector, Governmental/Non-profit Education Sector Category and all other non-profit organizations and charities will be required to enter in the Non-profit Category.)

  1. Sales and Marketing
    Recognizes the creative ways in which companies are using the Internet and networking technologies to position, promote and sell their product or service through continued advertising, public relations, marketing and sales efforts.
  2. Customer Relationships
    Recognizes the creative ways in which companies are using the Internet and networking technologies to provide more value to their customers and increase customer loyalty and customer retention through better customer service.
  3. Operational Excellence
    Recognizes the creative ways in which companies are using the Internet and networking technologies to enhance, simplify, and improve their internal operations and business-to-business relations, resulting in more productive and effective processes.
  4. Public Sector, Governmental and/or Non-profit Educational Sector
    Recognizes the creative ways that public, governmental and/or non-profit education organizations are using the Internet and networking technologies to provide a broader geographical reach of services, expand or maintain services, or serve the organization's employees or clients better.
  5. Non-profit (not-for-profit organizations and/or charities with tax exempt status under IRC 501(c)(3) or other similar provision of the Internal Revenue Code)
    Recognizes the creative ways that non-profit organizations are using the Internet and networking technologies to provide a broader geographical reach of services, expand or maintain services, or serve the organization’s employees or clients better.
