Problem Description
New SPE310 hardware is required to support ICCS Release 2.1. An End of Life has been announced for the SPE200.
ICS-7750 Release 2.1 is a major system release that delivers new ICS system software and hardware for IP telephony solutions. Upgrading to ICS Release 2.1 is required for the ICS-7750 to provide support for CallManager 3.1(2c), new higher density FXS gateway cards, and Integrated Unity Voice Mail 3.0.
Background
An End Of Life has been announced for the SPE200 product and it must be upgraded to the SPE310 product in order to migrate to ICS System Release 2.1 and CallManager Version 3.1(2c).
Problem Symptoms
The ICS Software Release 2.1 or later requires the new SPE310 to run the System Manager and CallManager Version 3.1(2c) software. Release 2.1 will not run on the current SPE200 product
Workaround/Solution
SPE200 can be replaced with an SPE310 by using the Upgrade request below.
The Serial Number is shown in the bottom right hand coner of the picture. It is the on on the top bar code that starts with S/N.
Note: No software or CDROM drives will ship with this upgrade. It is stricly a hardware exchange.
