Cisco migrates fiber traffic to IP network and network video recorders to data center.
The Cisco Safety and Security group monitors more than 2600 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at 300-plus Cisco facilities worldwide. Previously, this surveillance system was maintained on a separate fiber network and digital video recorder server farm.
