A brief overview of how Cisco TelePresence enhances customer relationships, reduces travel expenses, and increases productivity

Read the case study

Cisco TelePresence creates a virtual, in-person user experience using advanced visual, audio, and interactive technologies over an IP network. Meetings that formerly took place by conference call can now include life-sized participants projected on screen with the ability to interact in real time from locations worldwide.

From a network perspective, the Cisco TelePresence meeting solution is no different than any other corporate communications option, such as data applications, e-mail, IP-based phones, or desktop video. The equipment is monitored and managed by Cisco IT administrators using Cisco IT's internal network management systems. Administrators can access the TelePresence endpoints for remote troubleshooting and upgrades as needed.

TelePresence provides several business benefits, including reduced costs associated with employees traveling for meetings and conferences, employee productivity gains, more efficient internal communications, and improved access to busy executives and technical experts.
