The Cisco Binary Game is Now Available on the CCNA Prep Center

The CCNA Prep Center invites you to come to our newly redesigned Website to see the latest offering in our series of learning games. Anyone with a Cisco.com login can play this new game.

The Cisco Binary Game is designed to provide for serious learning in a fun, engaging format. Master the ability to convert decimal numbers to binary numbers and back again. Unlike most other learning games that simply test knowledge, the Cisco Binary Game actually teaches you while you play. As you achieve higher scores and advanced levels, recognizable patterns and conversion strategies begin to emerge. Before you know it, you'll be mastering the conversion of eight-digit binary numbers to decimals—in your head. The more you play, the better you become.

What Else Is New on the CCNA Prep Center?

  • "Access Control Lists: Part 2," a video on demand featuring our resident expert and CCNA guru Mike Wilson of Cisco, has been posted under the CCNA TV tab. This new video includes a review of standard ACLs, calculating a Wild Card mask, and configuring ACLs and extended IP ACLs.
  • "LAN Switching Fundamentals: Part 1," a recording of our April 12 broadcast, includes switching modes, CAM tables, and components of an L2 frame and how they operate.
