Cisco E-Service Training

The E-Service Training (EST) program is designed to deliver training to Cisco Third Party Maintainer Field Engineers (TPM FE) in a scalable, measurable, cost-effective way. Cisco Outsource TAC (OTAC) and Cisco Virtual Internetworking Support Engineer (VISE) can leverage the training program.
To access the E-Service Training web site you MUST be an employee of
Cisco Systems, a TPM FE, or a Cisco Outsource TAC engineer with a unique
EST User ID registered at WWW-TSS.CISCO.COM

E-Service Training Components
E-Service Training consists of six components: E-Learning, E-Lab,
Visual Hands On (VHO), EST Qualification (ESTQ), Cisco On-line
Maintenance Procedures and Support System (COMPASS), and Virtual Talk
Session (VTS) that represent the best practices for training support
engineers in delivering on-site services for Cisco products.

E-Learning
Receive
specialized training on product and technology concepts and
applications via Internet and CD.
E-Lab
Access
real Cisco equipment remotely to train and refresh skills. E-Lab
is now a US patented application.

Virtual Talk Session (VTS)
Ask
your questions online. VTS is provided when requested by students, an
instructor wants to use VTS for product upgrade training, or emergency
product training as required.

Visual
Hands-on (VHO)
Access
step-by-step instruction on hardware identification, remedial,
and maintenance tasks supported with photographs, images, audio, and
video.

EST Qualification/Award Program
Online
self-assessment for obtaining the E-Service Training
Qualification/Award.

COMPASS
Provide
detailed instructions for performing on-site upgrade and remedial
services for Cisco products.
