Effective immediately and in response to feedback from the field, partners who apply for the Cisco IP Communications Specialization may fulfill the Field Engineer 2 (FE 2) job role using either one or two trained individuals from their staff. Cisco has separated the Unified Messaging (Cisco Unity) and Contact Center (Cisco IPCC Express) components of the job role to allow greater flexibility and more options when completing these requirements. Please note that using two people in the FE2 job role will only allow either person to fulfill one other job role within this Specialization.

The acceptable options to fulfill the FE 2 job role are:
