Management for Cisco IP Multicast

Developed in cooperation with Cisco, this new solution provides customers with essential visibility into the health of their IP multicast service. Based on the new HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) Smart Plug-in (SPI) for IP Multicast 3.0, operators can view the topology of the environments and the status of each environment. This includes alerts to changes in status, such as a router failure, or business-critical activity. The SPI also measures multicast traffic flow rates throughout the network.
