The Mobile World Congress (MWC) event will take place February 11 – 14, 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. MWC, attended by chief executives representing mobile operators, vendors, and content owners, is the event where the industry defines its future and creates business. Producers of the show expect 51,000+ attendees, both BDM and TDM. Combining the world’s largest congress for the mobile industry with a leading-edge exhibition, the Mobile World Congress is the premier event for the global mobile industry.
Cisco is participating in the Mobile World Congress in an effort to showcase our technology vision and leadership. We will highlight our mobile technologies and solutions through presentations and demonstrations to an enourmous group of service providers as well as press and analysts.
Our messaging will focus on applying Cisco IP NGN and partner technologies to blend and integrate voice, video and data enabling the service provider to create connected experiences to subscribers.

This year's Mobile World Congress Keynote Address promises to be an exciting event, with four top CEOs speaking on about "Ubiquitous Networks". Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers, featured in the keynote, will highlight the importance of Cisco's mobility partnerships.
In the same keynote session, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, President and CEO of Nokia Corporation, will share his views on the future of the mobility industry will also affirm Nokia's comittment to our joint partnership and collaboration in mobile Unified Communications.
John will also walk through a demonstration of how Cisco can enable mobile applications and will include the use of the latest Nokia Nseries handheld device.
